Reece Runyan

Managing Partner

Mr. Runyan was a Senior Executive for Accenture, based in Singapore, where he had a pan-Asia role focused on establishing strategic ventures. Prior experience includes an Executive Operations role with the private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management and Managing Director of Europe Sourcing for Deloitte, based in Paris. Mr. Runyan began his career at EDS, where he held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility in operations, business development, and finance.

Mr. Runyan holds a Masters degree in International Management from Thunderbird, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa, and post metric studies from University of Cape Town.


Mark Thatcher

Managing Partner

Mark Thatcher, Managing Partner: Mr. Thatcher has participated as a legal and capital formation advisor for various internationally focused clients and companies. He concentrates in the practice areas of venture capital, private equity, federal and state securities regulation, mergers & acquisitions, crossborder business transactions, shipping and licensing. Mr. Thatcher is of Counsel to Simmons As soc iated Ltd. of Providence, Rhode Island and was past of Counsel to Daniel P. Edwards, Hughes and Dorsey, Heron Burchette and Sparks, Dix and Enoch, an AV-rated Colorado law firm.

Mr. Thatcher attended the University of Denver where he earned his Masters in Business Administration and Juris Doctor Degrees.

Tom Van Horn


Mr. Van Horn was a Managing Partner at Accenture, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where he lead a sales team responsible for $1B – $2B+ USD in sales across the APAC region including, ASEAN, Australia, China, Japan, Korea and India. Focusing on the Communications, Electronics & High Tech and Media & Entertainment industries, concentrating on Business Process Outsourcing and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to Accenture, he held Senior Vice President and Executive positions at IBM, Teletech Holdings, MCI, Rockwell International and The Ralph M. Parsons Company. He has traveled and done business in 35 foreign countries, and is highly sought by some of the largest and most successful organizations in the world to deliver results in improving and sustaining high performance. Mr Van Horn holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Management Information Systems & Computer Science and completed his MBA course work in International Business at the University of La Verne in Southern California.


Chip Andreae


Mr. Andreae formed Andreae & Associates in 1991, and beginning in 1996 was also a founding partner of Andreae, Vick and Associates for seven years. Mr. Andreae has had extensive exposure to the Washington establishment, with particular focus on foreign policy. He worked for 15 years on Capitol Hill, including four years with the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and five years as Chief of Staff for Senator Richard Lugar. As Chief of Staff, Mr. Andreae led numerous Senate staff delegations to the Near East, Latin America, and Africa. Mr. Andreae holds an Masters degree in Government from Georgetown University and a Bachelors degree in Political Science and History from Denison University. Mr. Andreae has also served as a Visiting Lecturer at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.


Jim Simmons


James R. Simmons graduated magna cum laude from the University of Hartford in 1985 and received his law degree from George Washington University in 1988. Before forming Simmons Associates Limited, Jim practiced with Tillinghast Collins & Graham in its corporate, commercial and real estate departments. Jim serves on the Banks and Trusts Committee of the Rhode Island Bar Association and his practice is concentrated in the areas of corporate law, banking and commercial law, mortgage lending, venture capital, private placements and real estate, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights. He is admitted to practice law in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
